I discovered this place by surprise when I forgot to prepare coffee for myself like I usually do the night before work. I needed to find somewhere near my dog's daycare that I could grab a coffee and go straight to work after dropping him off, but I generally drink coffee with oat milk, and I don't like to settle for mcdonalds coffee. Honestly, I wish I had found this place sooner, because I would have been going there a lot. It's a quiet, inviting space with a small, shared parking lot, and it seems like it would be a nice place to dine in as well as take things to go. They had no qualms with using my personal ceramic cup, and their Americano with oat milk is fantastic (they also use Oatly, which is my favorite brand). I peeked at the food menu and the bakery case, and everything looked SO good. I will be back for both coffee and that bacon cheese croissant soon! EDIT: returned a second time for a takeout drink and to get a photo to add to this review, but the place is so inviting that I ended up sitting for a bit. New fav coffee place!

Have been coming here for studying and its been great. Usually order their iced coffee with milk. Lv it. Today I also ordered the Gyoza, it was incredible! Made my day, highly highly recommend.

Iβve been here more times than I can countβthis is easily my favorite coffee spot in Cβville. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and perfect whether youβre sitting down to chat or settling in to study. The staff are so kind and consistently go above and beyond. They bring your drinks and food directly to your table instead of just calling your name at the counter, and on one visit they even gave my friend a bread starter, which was such a thoughtful touch. On another occasion, we accidentally stayed past closing, and they didnβt rush us out at all. They cleaned around us and then gently let us know they were already closed, telling us to take our time packing up. That level of kindness really sticks with you. While the croissants themselves are just okay (Iβve had better), the fillings are incredible. The Thai tea and ube fillings are my favorites, though they may be limited edition. The coffee is also excellentβthe drip coffee tastes high quality, the espresso drinks are great, and the matcha drinks are seriously some of the best Iβve had. Overall, just a true gem of a place.

Lovely array of unique pastries to choose from. Savory items are listed on a menu as well and not on display. All coffees are beautifully decorated. A lot of care goes into presentation. I would have enjoyed my lavender mocha more if hotter but I always request extra hot at every coffee shop and I forgot but it was delicious and not too sweet w a nice strong coffee flavor. The coffee cake was the star, excellent. Quiet calm surroundings with a pretty bar in the center. Food and drinks a must try when in Charlottesville.

What a cute and creative cafe ! So variety of bakery goods and drinks. I got matcha and fresh mango puree. It was so interesting and surprisingly delicious! My friend got ube late and it was creamy and delicious. The croissants such a full with surprises. They have all different lava filling inside. The service is really friendly and warm welcome. The baristas really knowledgeable about the menu. This was my first time here. Me and my friends really impressed! And we will definitely come back again.
